Our sailing Grounds:  The Cycladic Islands

My favorite Greek island Group, the land of white houses with the blue windows, windmills, Perfect beaches, postcard pretty villages, stalagmite/tite caves, Hot springs flowing to the sea, History and much more.

Paros

Perfect bays with the best beaches, Rich history, Great dining opportunities, tranquil or vibrant night life, Paros has it all. Naousa, The Gem of the island with its small boutique shops in her allies and the perfect local cuisine. The beautiful little port with its fine seafood taverns and bustling bars.

Mykonos, Delos, Rineia

Celebrate the arrival on Mykonos by visiting the local windmills and enjoying a cocktail on a veranda overlooking Little Venice. The beaches and famous nightlife add excitement to the picturesque island.

Syros

The Cycladic Islands’ capital, Syros is the cultural center of the modern day Cyclades. The capital town of Ermoupoly is the only town with a city vibe in the Cycladic islands. Beautiful marble lined streets and marble houses are everywhere around the main marbled square of the old city, a very special place.

Santorini

Often regarded as one of the most beautiful and romantic islands in the world, is famous for its breathtaking scenery, charming villages, and unique cultural experiences. The special colorful cliffs makes for a sight to remember. Well known wineries, fine dining and the Caldera view all add to the unique atmosphere that attracts tourists here for decades.

The little sister island of Paros offers visits to Europe’s deepest Stalactite cave with Grafity hundreds of years old. Perfect beaches with so many shades of turquoise, fine dining, much pirates history and just a stone throw away from Despotiko island with its famous Apollo’s temple. The best pirates’ hub in the area. If we look good we can see a sea turtle or two nearby our yacht.

This lovely island boasts special bays with perfect swimming grounds combined with HOT Thermal pools running to the sea. Sit in a natural hot water pool just flowing in the sea water and when it’s too hot just dip in the sea. Perfect afternoon / evening treat. Explore the island’s beautiful stalactite cave and the local villages with our great local guide.

Naxos

The largest island in the Group, a mountainous landscape with all the fresh produce you may need from fresh veggies\fruits to the famous Naxian cheese. The island has a rich history and well worth a road trip (can be arranged). Beautiful bays, tranquil scenery with the Old Venetian fort in the old town and the perfect sunsets off Apollo’s Gate make it a perfect stop.

Amorgos

a captivating island that combines rich history, stunning landscapes, and a tranquil atmosphere. Explore the historic winding paths that lead to the impressive Monastery of Hozoviotissa, perched dramatically on the cliffs overlooking the sea. Sail to Agia Anna Beach, gained fame as a filming location for the movie "The Big Blue." Hike on endless hiking trails or just chill on the beach.

The Small Cyclades, a cluster of hidden enchanting islands nestled in the heart of the Aegean Sea, offer a serene and unspoiled escape of natural beauty. Just opposite Ios town the Unknown island of Sikinos with it’s special harbor and the village on the mountain top. Dine in a special Winery with great local food served in the finest location high in the sky. A special little island.

Serifos

A serene and unspoiled island that offers a harmonious blend of traditional charm, rugged landscapes, and crystal-clear waters. Known for its picturesque villages, rich history, and a sense of tranquility. Take a bus or climb up to Chora to enjoy a heart warming sunset.

Folegandros

The unspoiled island of Folegandros with The capital which is located up in the hills on the edge of a cliff, boasts a traffic-free main street with plenty of green spaces to explore. Spend some time hiking the trails, taking photos of the classic whitewashed houses decorated with colourful bougainvillea or exploring under the waves while snorkeling.

Ios, with its diverse offerings, caters to both those seeking vibrant entertainment and those desiring a more laid-back Greek island experience. Whether you're exploring historical sites, lounging on beautiful beaches, or immersing yourself in the island's nightlife, Ios promises a memorable stay in the heart of the Cyclades. Hike uptown to one of the best sunset spots you can find overlooking Santorini, Folegandros, Paros and more.

Here's a suggested itinerary for your 7-day sailing trip in Greece:

Day 1: Paros

 

  • Arrive at the Yacht where We get to know our home for the week.

  • Get our provisions for the next days and enjoy Paros port or get ready for departure to a quiet night on anchor.

  • Dinner in a taverna ashore or on board.

  • Back to our home for a drink/sleep under the stars. 

 

Day 2: Ios

​

  • Breakfast onboard and weigh anchor.

  • Morning sail to Ios port, Possible brunch stop at Paros blue lagoon.

  • Enter Ios marina, time to explore the nearby beaches, trails or tavernas. enjoy the great bakery and ice cream shop.

  • Sunset with wine at the special sunset point up above the town, Great dinner on the way down to the marina.

  • go to one of the many bars/clubs or enjoy a drink on board.

Day 3: Small Cyclades - Iraklia

​

  • After breakfast we set sail to Iraklia island where we can snorkel to see a WW2 sunken airplane and have lunch. Sometimes we see dolphins on the way.

  • Sail to Agios Georgios port, Iraklia and sink into a different, tranquil Greek ambient.

  • Enjoy dinner in a taverna and get to know the charming village.

Day 4: Small Cyclades - Koufonisia or Amorgos.

  • We can hike early morning to the stalactite cave on the south of the island or just chill onboard with breakfast. 

  • Sail to the charming island of koufonisia, stroll around to enjoy perfect post card allies, boutique shops, great tavernas and perfect beaches .

  • Dinner in a great local taverna, stroll around the village and chill on board.

Day 5: Naxos and South Paros

  • Sail to Rhina cave or Kalandos bay on the south of Naxos for Brunch and a refreshing stop.

  • After lunch relax and sail to Despotiko/Antiparos where we can swim with sea turtles, SUP board paddle, visit Apollo's temple or go to the deepest stalactite cave in Europe.

 

Day 6: Paros

  • Sail to the blue lagoon or Diplo Islet for a relaxing time before heading back to Port.

  • Enjoy an afternoon in Naousa or Paroikia marina and get ready for our final dinner out as a crew.

 

Day 7: Paros

​

 

*Routes will be determined in real-time based on weather forecasts, the skipper's decision, and the participants' desire.

We plan for a calm and pleasant sail as much as possible.
